Abbey Road Institute is an international music production school initiated by the iconic Abbey Road Studios in London. We offer an Advanced Diploma in Music Production and Sound Engineering, available as a 12-month (full-time) programme or a 24-month (part-time) programme. A programme designed by the industry for the industry, focusing on three main areas: production techniques, sound engineering and the music business. The full-time music production course at Abbey Road Institute allows you to work intensively on your musical development and jumpstart your professional career as a music producer! Curriculum

The curriculum of our Advanced Diploma is developed and taught in an apprenticeship style, with practical hands-on lessons in all the subject areas.

The breadth of the course means that alongside learning what recording- and production techniques, equipment and microphones to use, you also learn why you use them. Through our broad range of industry professionals, from sound engineers to music producers, and artists you’ll gain insights into all aspects of the recording and music production industry. This will help you develop your own expertise and understanding of how to create different sounds and effects, and establish your personal career path.
