Maria Triana
Maria Triana worked as a Mastering Engineer for the past 16 years at Sony Music Entertainment in New York City. At Battery Studios, she had the honour and opportunity to contribute her skills and expertise on many award winning recordings. She has worked with artists ranging from Aretha Franklin to Wayne Shorter, and Britney Spears to Bob Dylan.
Before leaving Sony, she contributed to the development of Sony’s new immersive 360RA technology. Besides this, she created content by mixing and remixing released and unreleased material as well. Equally versatile in the analog domain as well in the digital realm, Maria has worked as a restoration and archival engineer for music collections of the Metropolitan Opera of NY, Jazz at Lincoln Center and Sony Music’s Catalogue.
Currently, Maria teaches mastering at Abbey Road Institute Amsterdam
