Abbey Road Institute & Nexus Radio presents: How to Get Radio Airplay
With Manny van Dahl, Lawrence Lui, Conor Systrom and Mark Sixma
ADE’22 Friday 21/10/2022 – Q-Factory building Amsterdam

You’ve finished your song, uploaded it to all the streaming services and announced it on all your social media platforms…but so does everyone else. Now it’s time to promote it and reach the right people. How about radio? Because radio matters. More specifically, online radio stations. Today there are more online stations than ever. They are known for taking music curation very seriously, making them the new authority for breaking new music and a leading platform for independent artists and DJs. It’s no coincidence that radio continues to play an important role in the music ecosystem.

So, how do you get your track on the radio? To answer this question, Abbey Road Institute invited Nexus Radio for an inspiring panel conversation. With: Manny Van Dahl (Co-founder, CEO, and Music Programmer @ Nexus Radio), Lawrence Lui (Co-founder, CEO Bampire Music marketing/pr agency), Conor Systrom (Marketing Manager & Head of Streaming & Radio at Monstercat) and Mark Sixma (artist, DJ, producer at Mark Sixma). Our panel will discuss the journey of music from production, promotion, and the final “pitch” to radio.

Whether you’re sending your demo or pitching a radio program, here’s how to do it right and get your music heard.

Join us on Friday, October 21, 2022, at Abbey Road Institute Amsterdam | Q-Factory building,
Atlantisplein 1, Amsterdam (3rd floor)
