Andrew Scheps

Andrew Scheps is a Grammy-award winning mix engineer whose credits read like a who’s who of popular music. He mixed four tracks on Adele’s Grammy-winning album, 21. Andrew also engineered and mixed songs on Red Hot Chili Peppers albums I’m with You and Stadium Arcadium. He has collaborated frequently with producer Rick Rubin. Scheps has worked with Jay-Z, U2, Justin Timberlake, Green Day, Metallica, and many others.

Andrew has developed two acclaimed signature plugins, the Scheps 73 and Scheps’ Omni Channel Strip for Waves.  He is also the owner of Tonequake Records.

During his masterclass with our students at Abbey Road Amsterdam, Andrew walks our students through one of his masterful mixes revealing his techniques and workflow. His classes include an extensive Q&A which give the students the opportunity to dig into his wealth of experience and knowledge.
