Erik “Rook” Ortiz

Erik “Rook” Ortiz is an American producer from Florida. In 2005 he formed the group of producers “J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League”. They produced with artists like Mary J. Blige, Young Jeezy, Drake, 2 Pistols, The Game, Chris Brown, Rick Ross, Gucci Mane, Maino, Ghostface Killah, Rocko, Blood Raw and Young Buck to name a few. Within only ten years of forming his production team, he obtained several awards including a Grammy Award for Best R&B Album for his work on Mary J. Blige’s The Breakthrough (2006).
From time to time, he guest lectures at Abbey Road Institute Amsterdam.
