AN UPDATE FROM ABBEY ROAD INSTITUTE AMSTERDAM
With the ongoing lockdown here in the Netherlands, Abbey Road Institute Amsterdam remains a practical teaching facility. With permission, we have been able to conduct practical classes in small groups at our studio facilities here in Amsterdam. While most of our lessons have gone online, we strive to keep a good balance between our online, practical classes and individual student studio bookings. With a full risk assessment in place, this has been carefully planned with our students and staff following strict social distancing rules.
We are closely following the guidance provided by the Dutch government to make sure we have up to date information and can effectively monitor the situation.
Our team is still here, available to speak with you. If you have any questions please drop us an email email@example.com. At this time, our facilities are closed to visitors. However, we can offer you the chance to Book A Virtual Tour of our studios. We have also included some useful FAQ’s below to offer further guidance if you are applying to study with us at this time.
I WANT TO APPLY FOR THE ADVANCED DIPLOMA IN MUSIC PRODUCTION AND SOUND ENGINEERING. HAS THE APPLICATION PROCESS CHANGED?
We are open and taking applications for our Advanced Diploma in Music Production and Sound Engineering as usual. Our team are here and available to help guide you through the process. You can also find guidance on what you need to do to apply on the entry requirements section of the course page. You should gather together all the required documents and submit them, as usual, using our online application portal. We will, however, be changing the interview to an online interview instead of in person at our campus. The interview will still be the same except that we will meet you online rather than in person (through Skype or another online platform). If your application is successful and moves to the next stages we will send you more information about this. If you need any support or guidance for the online interview process please let us know by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org
I WOULD LIKE TO SEE THE STUDIO AND TEACHING FACILITIES AT THE CAMPUS. WHEN CAN I COME IN FOR A TOUR?
At the moment our Amsterdam campus is temporarily closed to any visitors. Whilst we cannot offer tours we are still here and very happy to speak with you about what it’s like to study with us and provide you with lots of useful information on the course, how to apply and future careers. We are giving personal virtual tours with our Staff – click on the ‘book a virtual tour’ button below or email us to book a day and time that suits you via email@example.com. You can also visit the location page of our website so that you can see our teaching spaces, studio, production rooms and get an idea of all of the gear you will have access to as a student. We are looking forward to inviting you to our campus in the future.
